Demon's World Tournament - 魔界統一編
 

The story starts out with Yusuke questioning his own purpose in life. Yusuke had previously killed Sensui indirectly by his demon's ancestor, Raizen which is one of the 3 kings in Demon's world, but not himself, and has no idea what laid in his future. Spirit world see him as danguous as other demon and fired him as a spirit detecter, just the very next moment Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei got invitation from the Demon's world 3 king separately.

In Demon's World there are three extremly powerful rulers Raizen, Yomi and Mukuro. They each have an equal share of land and they rule over different variety of demons. Raizen is the strongest of the three, and Yomi is the newest to obtain power. The 3 kings cannot really start war to take over's eachother because if 2 of them fight, the remining one will attack the one who won but already weakened. So the 3 kings situation was hold for more then 1000 years. The whole conflict began over the argument of eating humans. Raizen said that they should stop eating them, while the other two disagreed. Raizen getting weaker since he hasn't eat for over 500 years, and he is going to die soon and the balance of the 3 kings demon world will be changed.

Yusuke going to Raizen's country, Kurama going to Yomi and Hiei going to Mukuro. They were friends and now they are in a diffcult situation. This storylines has a lot of political factors but however, Mr. Togashi wants to finish the story shortly at the end. The story was still really attrative and the characters Mr. Togashi created are always so charming. And the end after Raizen dies; Yusuke suggested organizing to have a Tournament to choose the new king. Of course it's not as easy as he think as this thought is rather innocent or naive in demon's eyes, however with his friend Kurama playing political card and the cool of one of the remaining king Mukuro, the tournament started.

 
 
 

Raizen （ 雷禅 ） was considered the God of War, because of his power. His power level was S+. He is Yusuke's 44 generation ancestor.

In ancient time he met a human women and fall in love. her meat cannot be eaten because her body is poison.. She insult him, she don't even care if she would die, Raizen fell failure but also feel that she is the most attractive women. Raizen so ask her to sleep with him (woah...) .He promised her thathe will never eat human again, however his only food is human. She have his kid from that night but not long after she gave birth, she dead.

Raizen kept his promise not to eat human and dead one year after Yusuke went to Demon's world to see him. His last word was “I'm so hungry”.

 

Yomi （黃泉）is one of the 3 Demon king in Demon's world. He was blinded a few hundard years ago by a demon that was hired by Youko Kurama. Before the incident, Yomi was a thief and partner of Kurama.

Yomi is a powerful fighter in spite of his blindness, which has only enhanced his other senses and demon power; also he seems the most tricky/evil among 3 kings. But at the end he doesn't care anymore.

His name means "underworld"

 
 

Mukuro （軀）I ．．was thinking Mukuro is a guy first when its said she is one of the demon 3 kings and when she first appear, she used bandage and incantation to wrapped her head up with big thick clothes and a huge lock on her hand that you can't even see how is she like.

She had an awful past (can't even call that childhood as she really doesn't have one). Go to "freetalk" and click "X-rated comic" if you don't know and curious it. May be you already know what is this when you see that topic...

She lost to Enki in the Demon's world Tournament, but then from what Hiei said in the coimc, she is actually the strongest amongs all kings and demons.

I quite like her story with Hiei and they look good together.

Her name means "dead body"

 
 

Shura (修羅) Yomi's son, just born before the tournament and was developed very soon for the tournament. A little devil who obsessed a huge power.

His name means "scene of carnage" (many Japanese comic characters using this name though).

 

Enki (煙鬼) was one of old and long time friend of Raizen's, and appeared to pay his respects when Raizen died. Enki wins the winner of the demon's world tournament and thus becomes leader of the demon's world for few years. He is a peace-loving demon so it was actually a good thing that he won.

His name means “smoky ghost/devil”
