Opposite from his younger brother, Shun, who is kind, soft and showing all his own emotions, Ikki doesnt like to show his feeling, he could be very cruel, and he is a Harsh man...very harsh on everything....his teacher ( a mad guy ) teach him to hate everything coz if you dont hate it you cant kill it ...so true! but stupid too ... Ikki fall in love with a beautiful girl, Esumeraruda, who sold to the Island that Ikki was studying for being slave ... then his teacher killed her for made Ikki hate him and kill him back ... huh? WTF ? he was just mental and this Bronze cloth of Phoenix is for powerful AND stupid people isnt it??

Ikki think Esumeraruda look exactly like Shun, apart from the hair colour ( Esumeraruda has blonde hair and Shun has light brown hair in the comic, green hair in animation)... ok ok..now clear..Shun really looked like a girl even the story tell it ...

As i know most boy like this character if you ask them to choose from the 5 main boys, because everytime he appear as a cool, stylish, mature kind of guy who always win a mile a head, even he did has to fight hard ( for example : in 12 temples, virgo temple with Virgo Gold Saint Shaka ) he was appears after (always, always late )the other four fight like a doggy and losing ... then he came and like ' ok let me have this hard work done, you all little weak boys go on and do other easy task now!" ... oh! men's ego, thats why they liked him .. oh yes must be it ..

for Shun he loved Ikki the most, Ikki was like his no. 1...but Shun is only Ikki's no.2 ( read the Mariner ( the Posiedon ) Chapter ) and the No.1 was Esumeraruda ... but for sure that Ikki love other friends after many battles with them against other emenies, esp. at the last Hadas Chapter he even cried ( people in this comic cried all the time anyway, but not Ikki ) he just cold outside and he doesnt want to show his emontional side ... very much like a traditional man !

Phoneix cloth has the only ability of repairing it by itself .. made his image more independent .. yes opposite from Shun!
