My first time in London - Went to UK before, but only in Scotland. Matt, a very nice friend come to pick me up at the airport - We mainly went to the city centre today. |

The flight to Europe take so long but lucky the direct flight make the distance much shorter. This time I'm using Oasis Hong Kong Airlines (website). They fly to London and Vancouver directly from Hong Kong at a nice price. I always wanted to take photos of the stars when I'm on the airplane, however my camera isn't a professional one so can't catch anything. I really LOVE to look at the sky - day or night time. After 12 hours flight, I arrived in London Gatwick Airport at 6am at the morning (great timing - force yourself not to sleep til night, then next morning your jet-leg will be gone) .... Paul told me there's lots of cheap airlines landing there and ... hell yeah. I really need to thanks Matt, he is a really nice friend and even came to pick me up at early morning and drive me home (as I'm staying in his house) - without him my stay in London won't be as greaet as it was. |

So...after drop my stuff in the house, had a shower (after the longggggggg flight), we went buy something in supermarket (lol and we got a cheese cake too!), Matt bring me to take the train and went to the what he called, "not really London but tourist think this is London" area (what!) One main thing I come to London is to meet up Aurélie (She lives in Paris *and yes she's French* --- once she know I was planning a trip to London she said she will come and meet me there!) but then I don't know if her French number or my HK number funny, can't reach her :'( After a few times calling, and still couldn't reach her and her friend in UK- then I sent her an email before we leave the house .. |

The bridge tower, London Eyes, yeah all those tourist stuff ... its meaningless to see them 100 times on the photos or post card, coz in real they are 100 time prettier! And I was pretty lucky - the weather has been great since I arrived London. |

I actually can't memorized all those name of different places we went but we walked a lot .... The horse is really tall and big (I mean, the whole horse) , then I suddenly realized - have I ever seen a horse in real? seems I only saw them in photos and when I was in a zoo they are so far away .... now when I stand next to it, I feel even more tiny! When I take photo of the palace guards, (it was really diffcult - coz many people want to STAND RIGHT NEXT TO HIM FOR A PHOTO! and all I want was a SINGLE SHOOT) Matt said, "poor guy, he signed for fight for the country and now he just stood there let tourist taking him photos" ... LOL |

And once we enter the park - lots of birds! That remind me when I was in Copenhagen (Denmark) ... the city centre always has a park, and inside the park the duckie, bird walk around as they like ... and its never happens in Hong Kong... how cute |

Pictures took in the park ... I would love a park like this in Hong Kong ... not too much people ... clean air ... quiet ... but located in the city centre ... very peaceful. |
