The Forbidden Child – Hiei

Don't even know how Togashi have those creative mind to make such amazing story.

Such a cold cruel boy and a violent story combine with all the feeling and memories together, Female Ice Demon forsake her son, before she die she give him a drop of her tears (which femlae Ice demon's tears turn into gem), the Child growth up as a cruel bandit and seeking for the country he was born for revenge, when he finally found it, stand right in front of his mother's grave, couldn't say anything.

You would remember Hiei's cold smile, his attitude of “I don't care if I die if I could win” … Release the darkness dragon on his arm, everything burn into dust – he used to be really cruel, always too serious, it's seems his life is a lonely battlefield and he keep chasing target after he have finished one. He hardly smiles unless when he was being sarcastic, he doesn't even seem knowing how to be happy or stay comfortable when he should be happy.

Hiei's mother, Hina is an Ice Demon, which all Ice Demon are female living in a freeze city in the sky to being isolated in the demon's world. Why is the country being isolated have it own reason. All female ice demons in this country have an endless life. They could live forever, they give birth automatically every 100 years and all the babies are female - they don't need male at all; but then if they copulate with male, the baby would be a boy, and the boy would became a flame demon which have a really cruel character, love to kill and see blood, and after the kid was born the mother will die as well. Hina met male and give birth while this is also the time of having the 100 years once female baby, Hiei is the twin brother of Yukina (the female baby). The elder ice demons said, the girl is their sibling, but the boy is a taboo child who will destroy the whole country, and they have to kill him (throw him away from the country which is high in the sky )..

Female Ice Demon's tears are gems worth thousands of dollars. When they give birth, they tears a drop and give it to the baby. When Hina give birth she has 2 drops, one for Hiei and another one for Yukina. But Yukina soon got kidnapped by a greedy human who torture her for her tears to make money.

Hiei thus fall from the city when he was a baby, at that time he can already understand what people has said and he know exactly what happened. At that time he said “I'm happy to know the goal of my life – is to kill all the female ice demon in this country for revenge” - He haven't die and growth up being a bandit (and the demons who growth him up and have his name given are bandit as well) who ranged as A-class at the age of 5, he love to see blood, he show off his gem and let others demons chase for it, then he could kill them for his violent desire.

Soon he wearied of fight, but others bandit was scared of him. He looked at his gems, then he realized this gems claim him down. He feels peaceful to just look at it. Once there was an accident, he lost the gem because of a fight. He didn't know it was so important to him and this is the biggest mistake of his life. Then he has to search for 2 things: the ice demon country and his gem. He take a surgery of having the tired eye “evil eye” so he can search what he wanted easier, even he have to suffer a peerless pain and lost his demon energy from A classed to D class, but he think this is a good way as he cannot forgive himself to lose the gem. Because of the evil eyes, very soon he found the country, but when he finally found it, he saw all ice demons there were scared of him, he stand in front of his mother grave, he didn't say anything and all his anger gone.

One target finished, he got to know he has a sister name Yukina and she was disappeared. He has a new target of looking for her; his life was just moving him around. Finally he came to the human living world by some reason, knowing new people and found Yukina. He didn't tell Yukina he is the brother but protect her and care about her. Hiei just really used to protect himself and didn't know how to express his feeling, to Kurama, Yusuke and even Kuwabara he see them important but he never show it. When I read YYH again now, I realized Hiei is just a lonely kid. In fact as a demon, he is just a baby. See demon lives for 1000 years and he wasn't born too long ago (may be even same age as Yusuke).

Mukuro give Hiei back his gem which the gem is just a tribute to her … she share the tough life that she has as worse (or even worse) than Hiei to him, they both lack of love and have no childhood and they met. Hiei search for Mukuro's dad who raped her and give him to Mukuro, and then when Hiei said to Mukuro “happy birthday”, you that know he is not lonely anymore.
