The insane characters
Togashi is a genius of comic that's for sure; the characters he created are real and SO charming. But then he love to create mad/insane/abnormal / sick characters as well, again even the characters are sick you just love them anyways. In his current work “Hunter x Hunter” one of the crazy one is Hisoka, but the way he ‘insane' is a bit different with characters in YYH. Here a few characters in YYH that I think they are on "the top insane list" :
1) Sayko (completely insane) < I have no feeling about him
2) Sensui (more than completely insane!! ) < LOVE, LOVE this character
3) Kamiya (insane) < Quite like him, but not very addicted
4) Itsuki (his 'love' is insane in a weird way [coz he is Demon?]) < of course like him a lot
5) Karasu (more or less same as Itsuki) < like this character too, very sexy (I know he is gay okay?)
6) And etc can't record 'em all.

1) Sayko |

A very, very rich human who is one of the leader in BBC, he is one of the reason of the dark tournament. It said his whole family is ‘normal', got good parents, 5 brothers sister together and they all working in government department, nothing wrong in his family. Only he turns out like “that”. there was a while Sayko love to see blood and organ, therefore he dissect frog, fish, dog, cat…then he got bored of animals, so he dissect human, but after that he lost interested as well, and what can turn him on is to gamble. He gamble for millions in one go, and he did put his life as the bet for a gamble sometime. That's why he gamble in BBC in Yukina's case and organized this tournament with others members in BBC as a gamble too. This guy is basically,… MAD.

2) Sensui |

Talked too much about him, but the story is always around this guy.
He is a very innocent, powerful and intelligent person, but after he saw the cruel and bloody torture sense of humanity dark side he was torn. His mind came up with 7 personalities who have different name and abilities, sometime he will have a meeting of 7 INSIDE HIS OWN BRAIN and discuss stuff -_-
The 7 personalities are :
- Shinobu ( 忍 ) The main personality, innocent, pure, polite, but got the most powerful energy and the strongest one. The personality who Itsuki is in love with. (fighter)
- Minoru ( 實 ) An arguer, he have a lot of pride, talk all the time. (fighter).
- Kazuya ( 一也 ) the cruelest character who's an expert at murder (fighter)..
- George ( ジョージ ) he is in charge of collecting weapon .. (figther)
- Makoto ( 誠 ) he do cooking, cleaning, sweeping etc. (lol can't imagine Sensui's helper side)
- Hitoshi ( 等 ) Look after plants and animals. (in charge of … hobbies?).
- Naru ( ナル ) Female personality. A crybaby, only will appear in front of Itsuki.
Because the innocent him cannot accept the truth that humanity is a disease, he was torn and lost trust of human, wanted to open the gate of demon's world which he was successful in the story, and let all the powerful demons come to living world to kill every single human, he hated himself being a human as well.
One sence I really think "god, he lost his mind" was in the comic after the main personality Shinobu show up. Yusuke want to take him but he bit Yusuke down, keep stepping on Yusuke but his eyes wasn't looking to Yusuke... his eyes was just telling you he didn't THINK at all...and the purpose is made Yusuke lie down and take his hand to say "the pleasure is mine" ... just after that he laugh without thinking for totally 2 pages while releasing his sacred energy. (on Anime this chapter he looks awful btw, I was so mad.) ... anyways I love this character a lot.

3) Kamiya (doctor) |

He was fighting for Sensui's side, one of “The seven”. He said as a doctor he has been seeing so much in life and he is not sure how should he die, getting old or sick is not a way that he wants how its ended. So the idea of open the tunnel/gate to human world and get kill by demonS and being one of the dead body in the carnage is cool for him (woah…)

4) Itsuki |

I didn't think he was, but when I read the comic again … god such a beautiful guy is sick as well, he is not like mad insane, but his measure of value seems … well he is a demon. Btw if he is not abnormal how can he match with Sensui and accept to be with someone who has … 7 personalities?! One more reason to make them a perfect match.
He love Sensui so much that's no doubt, he do everything for him, but he said he love to see him torn and despair, also when Sensui dead he took his body and hold it forever in his dimension, he said “Shinobu....when you are "Shinobu", you never let me see your face when you are in pain and despair ... this is my only sorrow...” … ah they are perfect match, nothing more to say.

5) Karasu |

Actually only one thing made me feel he is a bit crazy … he tells Kurama that he like him so much and wanted to kill him even more because he likes him. Then he said he want to keep Kurama's head (only)so Kurama can be with him forever. Seems the ‘love' of demons sometime is a bit different … Razien fall in love because of he got insulted by that human lady who have attractive eyes and keep promise for her for 500 years and die because of the promise etc..
