About Itsuki

I didn't understand much about many stories and character when I first read YYH at it still on jump (around 1994), it's call teenage-comic but many things in YYH is not a teenager could understand. Now read it again its even more shocked and feel amazing about it.

Didn't really understand Itsuki, he is so complicated; on anime they just made him gay, gay and gay, its ok coz he is, but I (and many people) didn't like anime make it sounds like only Itsuki want Sensui but not they are together. But this is not the only thing about Itsuki. Togashi's original comic is way too much better

Togashi is very good at creating very attractive characters, bad one good one insane one lovely one all drive you crazy. Nevertheless he love creates abnormal / insane / sick characters as well, and even the characters are sick you just love them anyways. Just … cannot believe a handsome or even too handsome but beautiful, charming, coquettish character is also an insane one.

In the battle, to say Itsuki is Sensui's partner or assistant is not as appropriate to say he is a shadow of Sensui. He is very quiet, he always stays behind Sensui. When ever Itsuki appear on the scene there was always next to Sensui - In fact Itsuki never appear by it own when Sensui not there, not even on the covers etc. he almost never show up in the middle, at the final battle he just stand behind Sensui when he was watching movie on the sofa, he didn't say much but listen to Sensui's order to release Kuwabra, put everyone in his 2 dimensional demon pet to protect the fight of Sensui and Yusuke … then at the end of the battle when Sensui die, he just stand there quietly, listen to Sensui's last word with the rest of others and finishing the last word Sensui couldn't finish for him.

When ever he talk, whatever he do is all for Sensui. He went through all these 10 years with Sensui and sees him torn. But then why he is abnormal, because he loves seeing Sensui when he was torn. When Sensui dead Itsuki hold his dead body and said “Shinobu....when you are "Shinobu", you never let me see your face when you are in pain and despair ... this is my only sorrow..." …. Before that in front of Kurama etc, he said “I like it when he is despair and torn”(傷つき、汚れ落ちていく様をただ見ていたかった)… he didn't push Sensui to the chasm, but when it's happens he love it.

Itsuki accepted the torn heavy heart of Sensui and even his 7 personalities thing, tolerate everything of him and love every part of him … when you look at some illustration that he went near Sensui and his hair drop on his shoulder, you really feel the tender, he would never leave Sensui even he was dead, Itsuki would be his shadow forever … no one can understand this demon, but Sensui and Itsuki understand each other … one of the most beautiful and crazy story ever.
